Chubby Bunny Challenge

Want a crazy challenge to do when you’re bored? The chubby bunny challenge is fun to play with friends and family. Just don’t spit everywhere. This challenge has an extreme choking hazard! The goal is to see who can last the longest with the most marshmallows in their mouth before they inevitably have to spit them out. You can use big or small marshmallows. Some have done this while reading a book, and some say different things instead of “Chubby Bunny.”. Have a spit bucket or bag ready because this game gets messy quickly. Also do not go beyond your limits because it can easily become extremely dangerous if you do.

You could choose to use peeps or regular marshmallows for this challenge.  It’s funny to hear someone try to talk with a bunch of marshmallows in their mouth, but it gets disgusting at times. A 1959 Peanuts comic strip shows Snoopy’s mouth being filled with an increasing number of marshmallows while Charlie Brown keeps count. On June 4, 1999, 12-year-old Catherine Fish died after choking on four marshmallows while playing Chubby Bunny. On September 12, 2006, Janet Rudd, 32, from Canada died in a Chubby Bunny competition at the Western Fair.

Therefore, the Chubby Bunny Challenge could be fun but is extremely dangerous at times.

Chocolate Bowl: UPDATED

maxresdefault.jpg Recently, I’ve seen many people attempting to create “chocolate balloon bowls”. It’s supposed to be simple and fun to create. So what ingredients do you need to create this bowl?

Ingredients:

  1. Regular balloons (as many as you need)
  2. Baking chocolate (any flavor you’d like)
  3. Optional berries or chopped fruits.

The instructions to make the bowls seem simple but the chocolate could easily break. And getting the chocolate to stay up on wax paper may be a bit…difficult. So, lets get to the instructions. First add your chocolate into a microwave safe bowl, and microwave the chocolate for 30 seconds each until its fully melted. Make sure you let the chocolate cool down or else it may pop the balloons. Blow up as many balloons as you’d like and dip each of them into the chocolate reaching 3 inches of the balloon. Set the chocolate covered balloons oimg_1184.jpgn wax paper and leave them in the freezer for an hour. Pop the balloons with a toothpick or a sharp knife, and take out the balloon. Add any fruits or ice cream into the bowl and bon appetite.

I hope you enjoy creating these bowls! I will be trying to re create them and posting the process on the site soon. Comment below any ideas you have for me to write about.

UPDATE! I tried making the chocolate bowls and I guess I succeeded. It was fairly simple to make. The only part I had trouble with was taking the balloon out of the chocolate bowl after popping it. When I peeled the balloon off some parts of the bowl broke. But it was a delicious and fun diy.

GALAXY SLIME?

maxresdefault.jpg

Recently a crazy trend going around has been making slime. Another is making things into galaxy versions of themselves. When you put those two trends together what do you get? Galaxy Slime!

Slime is a unique play material composed of several ingredients. It is classified as a liquid  and comes in a variety of colors and textures. One way of making slime is with detergent, glue, and optional food coloring. Another is with borax or liquid starch. So who came up with the galaxy slime idea? Many people have tried this trend so its hard to figure out you started it. But we do know that slimes orgin was from a company named Pillo. Pillo manufactured and sold this toy in a plastic green trash can. This toy was introduced in the winHow-to-Make-Glitter-Galaxy-Slime-Recipe-3.jpgter of 1976, and was non toxic.

To create the galaxy slime you must first create three separate slimes. One colored purple, one blue, and one pink. Place the slimes side by side, and roll them together creating the galaxy look.

What do you think of the slime trend? Comment down below.

Unicorn Frappuccino: Buzzfeed employees

maxresdefaultRecently Starbucks has released a new frappuccino named “The Flavor-changing Unicorn Frappuccino“. Many people have tried this drink, everyone has mixed feelings about it. Some hate it, some love it. Today we will be talking about some Buzzfeed workers opinions on the drink. Lots of negative and positive comments were said.

For example, one Buzzfeed employee said it tasted like “someone left a bowl of Froot Loops out, for like five days”. The world famous singer Katy Perry tried the drink, and immediately1492463120-0 after spit it out. Another employee called it “delightful” and said it tasted like “a melted marshmallow”. When directors mentioned the drink changes color and flavor, the employees weren’t shocked. They knew that the “color change” was only the two syrups mixing together. One man called it “the old magic trick”. The unicorn trend has been favored by teens. In the end, most of the employees said they would only get this drink again “…If I were going to Coachella or another music festival”.

Most baristas at Starbucks quote on quote “hate!” making the drink. It takes a long procedure to create the mesmerizing drink, and imagine making it for hundreds of people.

Whats your opinion on the Unicorn Frappuccino

Fidget Spinners

Recently a big trend going around is a strange toy called the “Fidget Spinner”. Its claimed to be the remedy for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, anxiety and autism. Sadly, the toy is being banned in classrooms all across the United States. The toy has a maximum of four bearings and come in many different shapes and colors. The toy may consist of brass, stainless steel, titanium, copper or plastic. So who created this toy? Catherine Hettinger, shes a chemical engineer. She wanted to file a patent for the toy in 1993, however she never got to it.

Hettinger said shes “pleased” that the toy is becoming popular. The Floridian inventor isnt making anything off of these toys, due to the fact that she didn’t file a patent.

Now lets see what some employees at buzzfeed have to say about this.

we-tried-fidget-spinners-2-14559-1494036905-0_dblbigBen Coleman called the toy “Stress relieving” and “aesthetically pleasing to the eye”.

Safiya Nygard called it “Ridiculous…but fun.”.

Therefore, the views on fidget spinners are mixed. But afterall, they were created for a good cause!

Shane Dawson On Kylie Jenner’s Makeup Line

shanedawsonRecently Kylie Jenners new makeup line has been blowing up all across the US. Hundreds of celebreties have been reviewing it, including Shane Dawson.

Lets start off with his view on Kylie Jenner. He stated the following about her… “…She has good makeup, like she knows what shes doing.”. So to start off, Shane does favor Kylies makeup style. But the one thing that seems to get on his nerves are her snapchat stories. He quote on quote stated that her snapchat storys were “bad…shitty…I unfollowed after just a day.”. Shane reviewed several liquid matte lipsticks, including “Mary Jo”, and “Klo”. He reffered to the lipsticks as “ketchup” and “good burger”.

At first he seemed to have interest in the opening of the lipsticks. After trying them though, not so much. Although he has called the lipsticks “hip”, he related the lipsticks to a “paint feeling” and stating one of the lipsticks looked like a nose bleed. Over all, Shane seems to have mixed feelings for Kylies makeup. He full on supports her and gives his honest opinions on the makeup, but those opinions are harsh.

Quotes from the Youtube channel of Shane Dawson, also known as “Shane”. The video from which these quotes were taken is called “TRYING THE KYLIE JENNER LIP KIT”. Go subscribe to Shane on Youtube!
